
WRO India Regional Conducted in Hyderabad and Delhi
Following the resounding success of the WRO India Regional Rounds in Pune and Bangaluru, the world of robotics and innovation witnessed a new wave of enthusiasm as Hyderabad and Delhi played host to these thrilling competitions. On September 1st, 2023, Hyderabad welcomed participants, followed by Delhi on September 3rd, 2023. Oakridge International School Khajaguda in Hyderabad and Shiv Nadar School, Pahadi Road Gurugram in Delhi set the stage for these remarkable events.
WRO India Competition
The World Robot Olympiad (WRO) is a globally celebrated robotics competition that ignites the spirit of innovation among young minds. Students from various age groups participate in this contest to showcase their creativity, problem-solving skills, and technical prowess.
WRO India Season 2023 Theme “Connecting the World”
The theme for WRO India 2023, “Connecting the World,” challenged young innovators to create robots that can enhance connectivity and communication in an increasingly interconnected world.
WRO India Regional Round and Its Rules
This year, WRO India’s Regional Rounds were exclusively for school teams that had qualified through WRO India NET under the Future Innovators Category. The competition aimed to encourage STEM learning and problem-solving among school students.
India STEM Foundation (ISF)
India STEM Foundation (ISF), the national organizer of WRO in India, played a pivotal role in orchestrating these Regional Rounds. ISF is committed to promoting science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education in India.
Participation
Both Hyderabad and Delhi NCR Regional Championships witnessed an astounding number of participating teams. Hyderabad welcomed a total of 23 teams, while Delhi NCR boasted a participation of 35 teams, each brimming with youthful enthusiasm and technical expertise.
