On 12th December 2025, a special educational exposure visit was organized for 80 bright students and 4 teachers from Anusaya Ovhal Madhyamik Vidyalaya (Punawale) and V. P. S. High School (Lonavala). This initiative, held under the Tata Technologies STEM Project, took students to the Science Park in Pimpri Chinchwad. The visit was designed to take learning beyond the four walls of a classroom and ignite a true passion for science through hands-on experience.
Before we dive into the details of this exciting day at the Science Park, let’s look at the organization making these opportunities possible.
The Exposure Visit: Science in Action
The visit to the Science Park, Pimpri Chinchwad, was a day filled with wonder and discovery. Students explored various sections of the park, including the popular Kalpakghar, where they didn’t just look at exhibits-they participated in hands-on science activities.
To make the experience even more immersive, the students attended:
- An Engaging 3D Show: Bringing complex scientific theories to life through high-quality visuals.
- A Planetarium Show: Sparking curiosity about the universe and space exploration.
By interacting with these exhibits, students gained a deeper understanding of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) concepts in a way that was both fun and memorable.
Empowering Students through Experiential Learning
Exposure visits play a vital role in a student’s development. Unlike traditional rote learning, these visits allow students to see the practical application of what they read in textbooks. By visiting world-class facilities like the Science Park, students are encouraged to ask “why” and “how,” which are the foundations of scientific thinking.
These experiences help bridge the gap between school lessons and real-world technology. When students see science in action, they begin to envision themselves as future engineers, scientists, and innovators who can solve the challenges of the world.
