On 16th April 2025, a STEM Awareness session was successfully conducted at M. P. Lion Bhuta Sarvajanik School, Mumbai with the support of our CSR- Partner Property Guru in collaboration with India STEM Foundation.
In recent years, there has been a growing emphasis on STEM education worldwide. STEM, which stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, is an interdisciplinary approach to learning that integrates these four subjects into a cohesive learning paradigm. Recognizing the importance of STEM education in preparing students for the future, this STEM awareness session was recently held in Mumbai, aimed at fostering interest and awareness among students.

The STEM Awareness Session
The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from 126 students and 4 teachers. The session aimed to ignite curiosity and build awareness among students about the importance and growing relevance of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education in today’s world.

Importance and Need of STEM Education: This segment highlighted why Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics are crucial in today’s rapidly evolving world. It touched upon how STEM skills are essential for innovation, economic growth, and addressing global challenges. The session might have emphasized the interdisciplinary nature of STEM and how it encourages critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity – skills valuable in any career path.
Emerging Future Careers in STEM: This part of the session showcased the exciting and diverse career opportunities that are growing within STEM fields. It explored roles in areas like renewable energy, biotechnology, data science, robotics, space exploration, and more. Understanding ChatGPT and its real-world applications: This part of the session focused on a specific example of advanced AI – ChatGPT.
