GlobalLogic Volunteers Engage with Young Innovators Ahead of WRO India Nationals

The GlobalLogic WRO India Engagement in Pune gave young innovators an opportunity to connect with industry professionals and strengthen their project before the national stage. On 15 August 2026, GlobalLogic volunteers participated in an Independence Day celebration and STEM WRO Showcase, where students presented their WRO 2026 project and discussed their innovation journey.

GlobalLogic WRO India Engagement Supports Student Innovation

The event brought together students, volunteers, educators, and guests for a day that connected celebration with STEM learning.

The programme began with the Flag Hoisting Ceremony, followed by an NCC Parade and Prize Distribution Ceremony. The event also featured the presence of Arun Phatak, Veteran, Defence & Corporate Leader, and Mentor of Atmanirbhar Bharat, who encouraged the students through his presence and interaction.

Later, the GlobalLogic volunteers visited the STEM Innovation Lab supported by GlobalLogic. There, students showcased the project they will present at the WRO India National Championship in Hyderabad.

Students Take Their Ideas to the National Stage

The students confidently explained their project, its technology, and the problem it aims to address.

The project features an AI-powered Bholanath concept that combines traditional ideas with technology. The solution uses sensors to provide information related to soil, rainfall, and farm conditions. The students also explained how their approach can support farmers across different seasons.

Presenting the project to industry professionals gave the students an opportunity to explain their thinking and receive feedback before the national competition.

Industry Feedback Helps Students Refine Their Projects

During the interaction, the GlobalLogic volunteers asked questions and shared suggestions to help the students strengthen their project.

Their feedback focused on the innovation, technology, and overall project presentation. These conversations encouraged students to look at their solution from another perspective and identify areas they could improve before the WRO India National Championship.

Such interactions can help students build confidence while learning how to communicate technical ideas clearly.

Learning Beyond the Competition

The value of industry engagement extends beyond competition preparation.

When students interact with professionals, they get a chance to understand how people working in the industry approach ideas and problems. They can ask questions, receive feedback, and learn how to present their work with greater clarity.

For young innovators, these experiences can strengthen skills such as communication, critical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving.

The GlobalLogic volunteers also appreciated the students’ efforts and their innovative approach. Their encouragement added to the students’ motivation as they prepared for the next stage of their journey.

Connecting STEM Learning With Real-World Experience

STEM education becomes more meaningful when students can apply their knowledge to real-world challenges.

Through its support for STEM learning and robotics, GlobalLogic is helping create opportunities for students to explore technology through practical projects. The STEM Innovation Lab provides a space where students can experiment, develop ideas, and work together to create solutions.

The volunteer engagement adds another layer to this experience by connecting students with professionals who can offer new perspectives and practical feedback.

A Journey Towards WRO India Nationals

For the students, the showcase was more than a project presentation. It was an important preparation opportunity before they take their innovation to the national stage.

The feedback from GlobalLogic volunteers will help the team continue refining its project and presentation as it prepares for the WRO India National Championship in Hyderabad.

As the national competition approaches, the students carry with them not only their project but also the experience, feedback, and encouragement gained through their interactions with industry professionals.

Building Confidence Through Industry Engagement

The collaboration between industry, education, and STEM programmes can create powerful learning experiences for young students.

The GlobalLogic volunteer engagement demonstrates how professional expertise can support students as they turn ideas into working solutions. It also shows the value of giving young innovators opportunities to present their work, receive feedback, and learn from people with industry experience.

For students preparing to compete at the national level, every such interaction can help them become more confident and better prepared.

The journey from a STEM Innovation Lab to the WRO India National Championship reflects the impact of hands-on learning, industry engagement, and opportunities that encourage students to keep building and improving.
