Overview:


We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Robotics Engineer to join our team for the World Robot Olympiad. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in robotics, a passion for education, and the ability to inspire and guide teams of students in robotics competitions. As a Robotics Engineer, you will play a crucial role in mentoring and supporting teams to excel in the World Robot Olympiad, fostering a love for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) subjects among the next generation.

Responsibilities:

Team Mentoring:
Guide and mentor student teams participating in the World Robot Olympiad.
Provide technical expertise and support in designing, building, and programming robots for competition.

Training and Workshops:
Conduct training sessions and workshops for students to enhance their robotics skills.
Organize practice sessions to prepare teams for the challenges presented in the World Robot Olympiad.

Problem Solving and Troubleshooting:
Assist teams in problem-solving, troubleshooting, and optimizing their robot designs and programs.
Provide technical support during competitions and help teams adapt to unforeseen challenges.

Team Collaboration:
Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, encouraging creativity and innovation.
Promote effective communication and teamwork among team members.
Competition Preparation:

Coordinate and oversee preparations for the World Robot Olympiad, ensuring teams are well-prepared for the competition.
Attend and support teams during regional, national and international competitions as needed.

Qualifications:


Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Proven experience in robotics design, building, and programming, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
Excellent programming skills in languages such as Python, C++, or Java, Bloch based Coding
Experience working with robotics kits such as LEGO EV3/Spike Prime, or similar platforms.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
Previous coaching or mentoring experience, especially in robotics competitions, is a plus.
Passion for STEM education and a commitment to fostering the next generation of innovators.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

Strong background in robotics, engineering, or a related field. Previous experience in conducting robotics training sessions or workshops is desirable. Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to diverse audiences. Willingness to travel to different locations as required.
