Gurugram, December 24, 2025 – Vidya School, Gurugram marked a significant step towards fostering innovation-led education with the inauguration of the RSK Lab on December 24, in partnership with Honasa as the CSR partner. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Ms. Swati Sood along with members of the Honasa corporate team, who joined students, educators, and school leadership to celebrate the launch of the new learning space.
The event showcased the remarkable creativity and technical aptitude of students, who presented a range of innovative projects developed through hands-on learning. Demonstrations included a gas leakage detection system designed to enhance household safety, Matka Cool 2.0 as a sustainable cooling solution, an obstacle-avoiding car, and an accident prevention system, among other working models. Each project reflected the students’ ability to apply technology to solve real-world problems.
Adding to the experience, students also demonstrated the functioning of a 3D printer, highlighting its practical applications and its growing relevance in modern education. The live demonstration offered insights into how emerging technologies can empower students to move from conceptual thinking to tangible creation.
Members of the Honasa team expressed their appreciation for the enthusiasm, confidence, and ingenuity displayed by the students. They shared their happiness at being part of an initiative that encourages innovation at the grassroots level and supports future-ready learning environments.
A brief but meaningful discussion was also held with the school principal, focusing on the evolving future of education and the critical role that innovation, technology, and experiential learning play in shaping young minds for the challenges ahead.
The inauguration concluded on a festive note, with students presenting vibrant cultural dance performances creatively blended with a Christmas theme, bringing together celebration, creativity, and community spirit.
