Hinjewadi, 25 February 2026: A vibrant celebration of innovation and young problem-solving talent unfolded at Zilla Parishad School, Hinjewadi, as six schools from the region came together for a STEM Showcase Event supported under the Tata Technologies CSR project.
The event brought together 52 students who presented 26 innovative projects, demonstrating their growing confidence in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The showcase reflected months of hands-on learning, experimentation, and mentorship under the program.
The participating schools included New English School, Maan; New English School, Marunji; New English School, Chandkhed; Pradnya Vidya Mandir School; Anusaya Ovhal School; and the host institution, Zilla Parishad School, Hinjewadi.

A Platform for Innovation and Real-World Thinking
The STEM showcase served as more than an exhibition. It was a platform for students to translate classroom concepts into practical, real-world solutions. Projects ranged across themes of sustainability, automation, safety, and community-driven problem-solving — reflecting both technical learning and social awareness.
Students confidently explained their models, working mechanisms, and the logic behind their ideas to visitors and evaluators. For many, this was their first opportunity to present before an external panel, making the experience both challenging and empowering.
Tata Technologies Leadership Engages with Young Innovators
The event was graced by representatives from Tata Technologies, who attended not only as guests but also as active participants in the evaluation process.
The team volunteered as judges for the showcase, interacting closely with students, asking questions about their concepts, and encouraging them to think deeper about real-world applications.
Their presence added significant value to the event, bridging the gap between industry and classroom learning.

Positive Feedback and Encouragement
The representatives shared highly positive feedback following the presentations. They appreciated the students’ clarity of thought, structured explanations, and the confidence with which they articulated their ideas.
The judges noted the originality of several projects and the students’ ability to connect technical knowledge with everyday challenges. Such feedback not only validated the efforts of the participants but also reinforced the importance of early STEM exposure in shaping future-ready learners.
For the students, the opportunity to present before industry professionals was both motivating and transformative. The encouragement they received served as a reminder that their ideas matter and that innovation can begin at any age.
Strengthening STEM Education at the Grassroots
The STEM showcase reflects the broader objective of the Tata Technologies CSR initiative — to strengthen foundational learning in science and technology within government and aided schools. By providing structured STEM exposure, hands-on project work, and guided mentorship, the program aims to nurture analytical thinking and problem-solving skills among students in the Hinjewadi region.
Events like this demonstrate how consistent engagement and industry-backed support can build confidence and aspiration among young learners.
As the showcase concluded, what remained evident was not just the success of the projects presented, but the enthusiasm and curiosity visible across all participants. The day stood as a testament to what becomes possible when schools, industry, and students come together to invest in innovation.
With continued support and structured mentorship, initiatives like these are helping shape a generation that is not only academically prepared, but also equipped to think critically and solve real-world problems.
